PDF FORMAT

I am trying to use couple of PDF librararies to do some post processing on the PDF generated by reproting services but all the tools i have tried so far are unable to open PDFs generated by RS - however other PDF (which are not generated by RS) can be opened normally programatically. RS generated PDF can however be viewed using acrobat reader...really strange - has anyone run into this problem - what is so specific about RS generated PDFs?Hey, try thi

Anyway, you may wish to try this...
Rename one of those pdf's to .TXT, then open w/Notepad and remove everything
after the EOF.
Then save, rename to .PDF and retry to open.
I have the same problem rendering a report from .Net web page w/param text and
cmd buttons.

to the PDF file to be off by one byte. This doesn't impact Acrobat because
Acrobat automatically detects this situation and autorepairs the file, but
other tools may not be that smart. We have fixed this bug, and the fix will
be available in beta 3 of SQL Server 2005.
