Good morning to all. I am running into the same problem with PDF attachments
within a subscription as many posts talk about, except we are using Exchange
rather than Lotus Domino. I haven't found any information relating to this
problem. The attached PDF has a size of 4 KB, but when I open it, I get the
following error: "Adobe Reader could not open "reportname.pdf" because it is
either not a supported file type or because the file has been corrupted (for
example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)."
I am able to export a report to PDF using report manager and view it
successfully.
Is there a fix for this issue occurring in conjunction with Exchange? We
are using Exchange 2003 Enterprise Edition with SP1 on a Windows 2003 server.
Thanks in advance,
KevinI would still try the following fix:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];872774
The fix is not specific to Lotus but to the way that the email file was
encoded. It is possible that it would fix your problem.
