pdf error

When I try to export it to PDF; I get an error "There was an error opening
this document.This file cannot be found."
This happens with Acrobat reader 5.0, 6.0 when the reports are pulled on
the user's machines from the production server. Am I missing something.
The export works well on the staging server.
any help is appreciated.
GaryI have heard of this on other machines. It seems to have something to do
with the browser config / temporary internet files. The file is usually gone
before Acrobat can open it.
